A one day WORKSHOP was conducted on 18/3/2026 on the topic “NURSING BEYOND BORDERS: EMPOWERING NURSES FOR A CHANGING WORLD" at THE PHANIDHAR DUTTA (PD) HALL, GAUHATI UNIVERSITY by the MSC Nursing 1st and 2nd year students of Arya Nursing College. The session was presided by Dr. Utpal Sarma, (Registrar GU) as Chief Guest alongside other eminent dignitaries like Dr. Bijoya Goswami etc. The keynote speakers of the events were Prof. (Mrs.) Mitali Barman Principal Health City Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences, Prof. Partha Pratim Baruah HOD Dept. of Environmental Science Gauhati University, and Mrs. Pinaki Bayan Chief Nursing Officer Apollo Hospitals Guwahati, Assam and their topics were “Expanding Career Pathways and Redefining Nursing Beyond Traditional Roles”, “Climate Change and Nursing: Understanding to Action”, “Advancing Collaborative Nursing Practice and Interdisciplinary Engagement respectively”.
