COURSES WE OFFER
GNM Programme
GNM: General Nursing and Midwifery is a diploma course in the nursing education field. It is a three-year-long course, after which one can be employed as a nurse in a clinical, hospital and community health setting or pursue further education for specialization.
- HSSLC (10+2) or its equivalent passed preferably Science (PCB) and English with aggregate of 40% marks.
- 10+2 in Arts (Maths, Biotechnology, Economic, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/ Elective or Health Care Science – Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognised Board under AISSCE/CBSCE/ICSCE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks.
- 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent Board from the school and recognised by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks.
- Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council.
- Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination or Health Care Science- Vocational stream ONLY conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40% marks.

ANM Programme
ANM: Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery is a two-year-long diploma course. Auxiliary Nurses can work in hospital or community settings under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional. Depending on what area the person is employed in.
- This course is only available for girls.
- Number of seats: 20 .
- Minimum requirements : 10+2 (Science/ Arts/ Commerce) pass .
- Admission month: August
B.Sc Nursing
B.Sc Nursing is a four-year long (8 semesters) degree program in nursing aimed to build highly skilled and competent nursing graduates. Specifically designed to develop critical thinking skills, competencies and high standards needed for professional nursing practice.
- This course is open to all genders.
- Number of seats: 60 .
- Minimum requirements : 10+2 (Science) with a minimum of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English for the Unreserved category and 5% relaxation for ST/SC candidates .
- Students can only apply with CEE entrance exam marks conducted by the SSUHS. The student can apply for admissions before the CEE entrance exam registration with the understanding that he or she has to take the CEE entrance exam conducted by SSUHS and obtain qualifying marks.
Post B.Sc Nursing
The Post Basic B.Sc Nursing programme is a two-year long course intended to upgrade the GNM Diploma nurses to a graduate level.This course is open to all genders.
- GNM passed with registration under a recognised Nursing Council .
- Qualifying marks under the Common Entrance Exam (CEE) conducted by Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS).

M.Sc Nursing
The M.Sc Nursing programme is a two-year long course intended to upgrade the GNM Diploma nurses to a graduate level.This course is open to all genders.
- Master of Science in Nursing is a two-year postgraduate degree program that prepares registered nurses for advanced roles in nursing
- The program includes clinical experience, teaching, and research, and prepares students for careers in education, management, and leadership
